Which Test My Pets test should I choose? A guide to the four levels

Choosing a Test My Pets sensitivity test starts with your pet’s species and the range of items you want to explore. We offer four levels for dogs, cats and horses: Standard, Plus, Ultimate and Optimum. This guide explains the differences and what happens after you order.

Compare the four test levels

Each level uses a small hair or fur sample. The main difference is the number of items included in the screening:

Choose the level whose item list best matches what you want to explore. A larger number means a broader screening list. For a particular food or environmental item, open the product page and select “View full list of items tested” before you buy.

Start with the right species

Choose a dog, cat or equine test first, then compare the four levels within that range. This keeps the comparison relevant to your pet. If you are looking for the broadest option, see the Dog Optimum Test, Cat Optimum Test or Equine Optimum Test.

If you cannot find an item or are unsure which test to select, ask our support team. Having the item name and your pet’s species ready will help them answer your question.

What happens after you order?

  1. Check your email. Your order includes digital instructions; no physical kit is dispatched.
  2. Register and prepare your sample. Follow the instructions supplied with your order, including the collection, packaging and registration details.
  3. Post your sample. Use the address in your current instructions.
  4. Receive your results. We confirm sample receipt by email. Results are emailed within 7 working days of receipt by our testing team. Allow separately for the sample’s journey in the post.

Using your results

Test My Pets uses bioresonance to explore potential sensitivity patterns. The report supports your understanding of your pet; it does not provide a veterinary diagnosis. If your pet is unwell or you are considering significant dietary changes, speak to your vet.
